Beloit College- Beloit, Wisconsin


Beloit College, a college selected in the Loren Pope's book, "Colleges That Change Lives," is a private liberal arts and science institution with 1271 undergrads centered in the industrial town of Beloit. Interdisciplinary majors are quite popular. One-third of its students participate in varsity D3 sports and half of the students pass through the music department. Music lessons and theatre opportunities are available to non-majors. Beloit was chosen as a college in the book, "Colleges That Change Lives." It is a test optional school and interviews are encouraged. Merit aid ranges from $15k to $25k for a B to B+ student and up to $25k to $30k for the A- student.
