Loyola University-Chicago
Loyola University-Chicago is a beautiful, medium sized institution with 11,000 undergraduates. It has two campuses 8 miles apart- the Lake Shore is the "main" campus located in the Rogers Park neighborhood and the Water Tower campus is downtown off of Michigan Ave. Most undergrads live on the Lake Shore campus which lies which lies on the shore of spectacular Lake Michigan. Shuttles run regularly transporting students between the campuses. The Schools of Business, Education, Communications, and Social Work are located downtown, while the Schools of Nursing (direct admit), Engineering (direct admit), Arts and Sciences, Environmental Studies, and Fine and Performing Arts are on the main campus. Students have the opportunity to complete a 5-year dual degree program. This year Loyola launched a very popular Neuroscience major.
