Northwestern University is known for their competitive, diverse campus as their 8,000 undergraduates come from 75 different countries around the world. Like Loyol-Chicago, this gorgeous campus is located right on Lake Michigan and has its own private beach. Since it is on the quarter system, many students double major and add minors to their degree(s). Half of Northwestern’s acceptances came from early decision applicants. In 2017, they had a 9% acceptance rate (1,925 total acceptances out of 37,000 applications). Thus, students seriously wanting to attend should apply ED for sure! Students love the ease and flexibility of changing majors and the wonderful internships and jobs available in the Chicago area.
