Elon University

Elon is known as the “Change University.” The town of Elon is small but does have has off-campus restaurants within walking distance and is a 15-minutes bus ride to Raleigh. Students must live on campus for 2 years and 40% belong to fraternities and sororities. 20% double major with the 4 most popular majors being Finance, Strategic Communications, Marketing, and Accounting, and they offer pre-professional degrees in health and law. Students are highly engaged with involved with 89% participation in Volunteer services, 87% in internships, and 79% in study abroad. Interesting majors in the College of Communications include Journalism, Strategic Communications, Cinema and TV Arts, Communication Design, and Media Analytics and Sport Management. Popular Business Minors include Professional Sales, Entrepreneurship, and Supply Chain Management. The Business School does not have a secondary admissions process (ie. Not harder to get into the Business School than any other major). Fun Fact: The restaurant, Tangent, on campus offers delicious chicken and waffle tacos.
